Jan attended school at North Idaho College where she received her Registered Nursing degree, after which she continued her education at Lewis-Clark State College to receive her BS in Nursing graduating Summa Cum Laude. Jan’s graduate studies were at Idaho State University and The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Jan is Board Certified in Anti-Aging Medicine. (ABAAHP) After working as a hospitalist (nurse practitioner) for 5 years, which involved stabilizing chronic/acute disease processes, Jan decided to focus her practice on prevention.

She uses a targeted and individualized approach by giving the body what it is missing: balancing and optimizing hormones, decreasing inflammation, encouraging a clean healthy diet and incorporating regular exercise. This supports the ability to age gracefully and strong.

Jan enjoys being active outdoors, especially kayaking, white water rafting, swimming, snow shoeing and hiking. Her love of the outdoors fuels her enthusiasm in getting her patients back to the things they love.

The hormones used in BHRT are plant derived, natural hormones that are chemically changed to mirror human hormones.
Hormones such as cortisol, estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, DHEA, thyroid, melatonin, and pregnenolone can be safely and effectively balanced.
