About the Procedure

Injections pose little discomfort for patients and typically take less than 30 minutes to complete. Patients are allowed to return to regular activities immediately after the procedure. Any mild bruising or swelling after the treatment will usually subside within a few hours.

Working similarly to Botox, Dysport® is effective for the correction of dynamic wrinkles such as crow’s feet, forehead lines, and frown lines. The full results will be seen 10-14 days after treatment. A repeat Dysport® session will not be necessary for three to five months. With consistent treatment over time, Dysport® can help prevent further wrinkles and fine lines. The injectable can also be part of a total skin rejuvenation plan when combined with a dermal filler and a skin treatment, such as a peel.

XEOMIN^® (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a uniquely purified botulinum toxin that is free from complexing proteins and has the lowest foreign protein load among the available botulinum toxin preparations^{1, 2}. By providing only the active neurotoxin for treatment, it might help reduce the risk of developing antibody-induced secondary treatment failure^{1, 2}. XEOMIN^® is clinically proven with efficacy and safety studies done for the temporary improvement of the appearance of glabellar frown lines, lateral periorbital lines (crow’s feet) and horizontal forehead lines in adults.³

Xeomin^® is indicated for temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe:

You may begin to see visible smoothing as early as 3-4 days after injection. The median first onset of effect was less than a week. The maximum effect occurred at 30 days. The typical duration of effect was up to 3 months in clinical trials but may last significantly longer or shorter in individual patients.
