Platelet Rich Plasma

Refresh, Revive, Renew

Revive & Rejuvenate

The use of platelet rich plasma (PRP), a portion of our blood that has a platelet concentration above baseline, to promote healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints, has been gaining popularity among the public after many professional athletes turn to this procedure to decrease healing time and increase efficacy.

More recently PRP has been used in the aesthetic industry to combat our bodies waning ability to maintain skin integrity. The excitement around this procedure has been growing because of the promising results seen in improved skin quality and texture.

This procedure is gaining popularity, as celebrities report fantastic results with their “vampire facelifts.” During the PRP procedure, your own blood is drawn and spun down to separate the PRP from the red blood cells. The PRP is then injected into the face to stimulate growth factors and stem cells—flooding the area to begin the repair of damaged tissue.

We then continue with micro-needling, using the PRP as the glide solution to better activate and stimulate the facial tissue into the healing process. These treatments are recommended in series of 3 to 4 treatments on a monthly basis.
